Demolitions

Unless Jehovah builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless Jehovah keeps the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. - Psalms 127:1

Lately I've been feeling like a wrecking ball in the house of God.

I see so much effort going on for so little... can't we just get back to basics and concentrate on the raw pursuit of the author of life Himself? Are our lifes so full of programs and accessories that they act like bugs on a windshield, obscuring our true vision?

God give me the grace to let go of the excess baggage, to live and do only what really matterth.

Stranger on the bus

This sort of stuff can only happen in Hong Kong... a verbal altercation on board a bus spawns a frenzy that marketing types can only ever dream of. View the subtitled version here (NWS)

There's an introduction to The Bus Uncle from Wikipedia.

Over in metafilter there's an interesting dissection of the cultural aspects involved. Another discussion in the same site deals with a similiar sort of thing.

Queen's Birthday weekend update

Things have been relatively uneventful in the last little while except:

1. Pimpin' up the Cabbage Carriage
2. Building an IBM Netvista 6578 for GT, and
3. Getting my nose in other little things

This marks my entrance to this New Zealand winter. Man, it's cold...
