Of dusty paths and bucket bathes

Three more weeks to go in Tanzania, and we're all going for it full throttle.

The last village we visited was named Majimoto (literally hot water). It had a hot spring with a bit of geothermal activity. The water is just great for laundry, apparently.

The locals were very receptive and welcomed us with open arms. Even our regular hired cook had a day off as seven of the ladies cooked for us all!

It is quite weird in a way to see faces that recognise me (as I have been in the area before) but it's also quite comforting.

Just a quick note to tell you all how things are going. And hopefully a bit of an insight to what it is like out there...

Soundin' good! Rock on...and wash your clothes.
